Let’s be frank with one another.

If you listen to what you don’t want to hear now and then, you’ll find a caring person wanting to help you. You’ll see that the person isn’t attacking you, disrespecting your or being mean. She probably wants to help.

When someone has the guts (and cares enough) to tell you what you don’t want to hear, you need to hear it. You also have to listen harder, because you’re trying to hear something you don’t want to hear.

Why am I telling you this? Because I’m not here to tell you what you want to hear. I’m here to tell you what you need to hear. If you don’t want to hear what I have to say, I understand. No hard feelings. Go back to doing what you’ve always done…and getting what you’ve always got.

What you need to hear is usually a lot more beneficial than what you want to hear.
I say what you don’t want to hear because I care. I’m not gonna sugarcoat anything.

Sugarcoating is something the Beast loves.

To beat the Beast, we gotta cut down on the sugar and cut down on the sugarcoating.
