Before you read this, please read You Have to Hear what you don’t want to hear. It is very important that you know where I’m coming from.
I’m about to tell you something you don’t want to hear.
Yes, no matter what you look like on the outside, you are probably beautiful on the inside. You probably have a beautiful soul and a beautiful heart.
But not your real heart, not your physical one.
If you are overweight, then you’re heart is working too hard. It is probably full of plaque and the bad cholesterol. That is not beautiful. That is yucky, not beautiful.
You are stressing your heart, and this is not the good kind of stress. It’s not the kind you get from jumping rope or sparring in your martial arts class. It’s the other kind, the kind you don’t want to hear about. Quite frankly, I don’t even want write about it.
Enough to Take Good Care of Yourself
I want you to love yourself, no matter what. If anyone shames you, I hope somebody smacks them upside the head. I want you to love yourself enough to respect your body more. I want you to love yourself so much that you stop putting that gunk into your bodies and start exercising.
The Beast wants you to be content, wants you to tell yourself that plaque and cholesterol doesn’t make you a bad person. The Beast is an evil genius. Those things don’t make you a bad person; they give you bad health.
Anyone who tells you to love yourself the way you are and not worry about all those healthy people “trying to shame you.” They’re doing the work of the Beast. They probably don’t realize it, but they are killing you from the inside.
The Beast loves those friends.
And you’re not that selfish.
I just want you to love who you are, and I want you to respect yourself enough to be honest with yourself. If you are overweight, you probably have a wonderful, kind and generous heart and an infectious spirit.
But physically, you may not be beautiful on the inside.
